Welcome to Training & Placement Cell at K. C College of Engineering & Management Studies & Research, Thane. Training and Placement is a vital department in the college and is constantly striving to provide assistance to the students in their efforts to probe for the employment. It also caters needs of various organizations to conduct the interviews. It plays an important role in counselling and guiding the students for their successful career placement. It arranges various technical and soft skills programs which augments the skills and increases the confidence of the students when facing the various tests and interviews conducted by the companies and to meet companies’ expectations. The Training and Placement Cell takes pride in offering student services like consultation on a wide range of issues such as employment, career planning, opportunities etc. thereby preparing students effectively for their career to make them competent. Training and Placement Cell operates year round to facilitate contacts between graduates and Industry.
TPO's Message
This era of globalization has opened enormous opportunities for young and talented budding engineers in all the walks of life. As a result, the expectations from the young engineers are that they should mould themselves seamlessly in to the global corporate culture. To achieve this, Team Training & Placement cell is functioning for employability enhancement and achieve the career aspirations of our students.
Training and Placement Office takes care of the following functions and responsibilities:

To have close liaison with Industry to facilitate Training & Placement activities.

Perform Training Need Analysis of students after analysing industry needs and skill gaps

Organize pre-recruitment, technical and soft skill trainings for the second and third year students

Plan recruitment drives for final year students

Conduct pre-recruitment trainings by the placed students

Organize internships and industrial visits for students

Collect feedback from companies visiting institute for recruitment

Co-ordinate periodical meetings with students and HOD’s, Principal for feedback on Training & Placement activities

Prepare schedule, budget, policies for Training & Placement Office.

I can proudly say that I have pursued my engineering from K.C College of Engineering. The relationship between faculties and student is very cordial, which gave me an opportunity to excel in my area of interest. KCCOE puts in the best efforts to provide all the facilities to the students like Faculties, events, sports, etc. The four years spent here were splendid and it has helped me to grow professionally & personally.

My four years at K. C. College of Engineering have been excellent and a memory to cherish for a lifetime. The years spent here have been full of learning opportunities that were full of fun and sometimes with the academic grind that one has to go through. I have received great support from all faculties, they were very supportive and encouraged us to be a part of all events. In the placement process of our college, everyone is working really hard for all students so that they could get easily placed in best companies, I was really lucky that I got placed in our first ever placement drive at LTI(Larsen & Toubro Infotech).

I really value my Education at KC college of engineering for many reasons. First, I get to learn about many things I never knew about. Another reason is that the Teachers/Faculty here really care about you and your education. . Tutoring is also available after school for those students who don’t understand something. I also have the opportunity to join a variety of clubs, such as the Placement club,Sports club, Cultural club etc. I also developed soft skills and ethics in Placement Club.Lastly, this college has a safe learning environment and I learned many things here.
